Saturday morning about 7:30 Marshall County Police Officer Les McFarland responded to a two vehicle crash at US 30 and Plymouth/Goshen Trail.
The accident occurred when 86 year old Bobby Staner of Plymouth attempted to cross US 30 on Plymouth/Goshen Trail in his 2000 Dodge Neon and failed to yield the right of way to west bound traffic.
Staner pulled into the path of the 2013 Volvo Semi and trailer driven by Rick Caples of Mississippi.
Staner was treated at the scene by Plymouth EMS and then transported to Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center in Plymouth for additional treatment for injuries sustained in the crash.
