Markee Farler is the 2014 Miss Yellowstone Queen and is looking for sponsors to take her to the next step.In a letter sent to potential sponsors, Farler tells them, “I am a graduate of Plymouth High School where I was on the Cheer Squad for 4 years. I participated in theater for 4 years as well and played a part in each of 13 plays and variety shows.”
The 2014 graduate was an active member in the choir and a variety of other clubs. Currently a full time student at Ancilla College she is studying liberal arts and plans to further her education in the dental field.
Since winning the Yellowstone Trail Pageant in August, Farler has had appearances in the Marshall County Blueberry Festival Parade and several local businesses.
Being Miss Yellowstone Trail earned Markee Farler a small scholarship to help with the cost of attending college and she has also been invited to participate in the Indiana State Festival Pageant in Indianapolis in November where she will compete with other festival queens from all over the state for the opportunity to be Indiana State Festival Queen and win another scholarship.
The honor of participating in the State Pageant is not inexpensive. Farler said, “I am asking local businesses to sponsor me with a donation to help cover the cost involved in attending the pageant.” Sponsors will have their business logo printed on a t-shirt and possibly a banner to use for parades. Farler would also be willing to make a personal appearance at you business or organization’s function.
