Who’s showing the best art by the best artists in Northern Indiana?  Heartland Artists Gallery, that’s who!

The Northern Indiana Artists (N.I.A.) will be displaying their work here in Marshall County at Heartland Artists Gallery from Tuesday, June 2nd until Saturday, June 29th.

Northern Indiana Artists, Inc. (NIA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion of contemporary creative art.  The NIA strives to raise the quality of work produced and the standards of the community.

NIA has been active in Michiana for seventy years.  Its membership is composed of area artists who have passed an independent jury process.

NIA sponsors exhibits of members’ works and holds meetings for the mutual benefit gained through discussion, lectures, inspiration, scholarships and social contacts.  NIA awards scholarships to deserving emerging artists.

Currently NIA has about 120 members and many will be contributing to this show.

This is a display of art worthy of any museum in the area.  Please don’t miss this.

On Friday, June 6th from 5:30 to 8:00 pm a reception will be held at the Gallery and all are cordially invited.

The Heartland Member of the month is Louise Amundson of Knox.  Ms Amundson will be displaying her pottery which showcase her love of nature and then a most unique and creative side.

Heartland Artists Gallery is located at 103 West LaPorte Street in Plymouth.  The hours are Tuesday thru Saturday 10 am to 4 pm.
