01/03/14 During their December meeting, the Mayor’s Youth Council held their yearly election for new officers.  Former president, Karly Gruett, ran against the former vice president, Curtis Smith, for the 2014 presidential position.  The votes resulted in a tie, and after discussion Curtis and Karly will be serving as co-presidents for the 2014 year.  The council continued to elect Kara Morwood as vice president, Gabby Garver as secretary, Morgan Oberly as treasurer, and Garrett Garver as Public Relations.  The council will continue working to improve our great city.

One item on the agenda for this Spring is an Earth Day Project involving other service clubs, youth groups and not-for-profit organizations.  The Earth Day Project will be held Saturday, April 26th.  There will be more information to follow.
