A Marshall County site is set to receive shovel-ready certification. Officials will mark the designation next week at the Argos Municipal Building.
George Null, Argos Town Council President is pleased to announce that Argos will be receiving a “Shovel Ready” designation by the State of Indiana during a ceremony on Tuesday, November 18th.
Null said, “Argos has made a significant investment towards their economic development strategies.” Town leaders say the certification is significant as it readies itself for growth and economic development opportunities. Null said, “We have an opportunity to help the Town celebrate success in achieving their community goals.”
Jerry Chavez Executive Director of the Marshall County Economic Development Corporation said, “Their efforts demonstrate their preparedness to a business community, to the State of Indiana and to us here in Marshall County.”
