4/16/14 Larita Killian, the author of “Zimbabwe Bound, A Woman’s Journey Through Africa,” will be at the Marshall County Museum on Wednesday, April 16. It is a story with local ties to the Orphan Train.
Effie Chandler, local Orphan Train rider, had a daughter, Annie, whose life story was nothing short of a work of art! The social hour is from 5:30-6:30 with light refreshments and museum tours. The presentation starts at 7PM in the museum Conference Room. Her book, “Zimbabwe Bound” will be sold during the event.
