Oversize Load Impacts Northern Indiana Highways Starting Thursday Night

INDOT_US30_overpass_1The state of Indiana has permitted a slow-moving oversize, overweight load to traverse state highways with police escort during five nights beginning on or after 8 p.m. tomorrow, Nov. 6.

INDOT_US30_overpass_2The approximately 185-mile route will begin at S.R. 249/George Nelson Drive near the Port of Indiana – Burns Harbor and follow U.S. 12, S.R. 49, U.S. 6, U.S. 421, U.S. 30, S.R. 9 and S.R. 124 to the Ohio State Line. INDOT urges motorists avoid these routes on the nights detailed below.
