On Saturday, March 8th, the Plymouth High School Winter Drumline competed at their final Indiana Percussion Association invitational of the season. The PHS Winter Drumline was the Class B Champion at the event and was presented with a trophy and a Vic Firth mallet bag set.
The PHS Drumline is currently ranked #1 in the IPA circuit and will attend the state prelims and state finals this weekend at Avon High School. IPA state prelims are “seated” in ranking order and, therefore, PHS will have the privilege of performing last at the competition. The schedules for the state prelims and championships can be found on the I.P.A. website at www.indianapercussion.org.
