Baca Arrested for OWI on US 30

  02/05/14  On Monday, February 3rd at 9:09 P.M. Plymouth Police Officers were dispatched to North Oak Drive and US 30  in reference to  an unconscious male in his vehicle that was reported to still be in gear.  As Officer Paul Stamper arrived at the scene and conducted an investigation 22 year old Juan M. Baca Jr of Plymouth was taken into custody for Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated.  Mr. Baca was transported and lodged at the Marshall County Jail where he was booked in on a $1,505 bond.

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is a mere allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
