auto theftOn Friday, December 19th at approximately 4:30 P.M. the Plymouth Police Department received a call of a suspicious male that left a vehicle behind Breeding Farm Supply. The witness described the male and advised he left the area on foot.

Officer’s located an individual matching the suspect’s description walking on Jefferson Street at Oak Drive. The male subject ran from officers and was apprehended in the wooded area north of Coventry Court by Officer Shanna Gilmer with the Plymouth Police Department.

The male suspect was identified as 20 year old William K. Pentecost of Plymouth.   He was linked to an auto theft that had been reported earlier in the day by Antique Motors.

Pentecost was transported to the Marshall County Jail and held on charges of auto theft and resisting law enforcement with bond set at $3,005 bond.

The Marshall County Sheriff’s Department assisted in the foot pursuit.
