During the Plymouth High School Senior Awards on Friday the Plymouth Athletic Booster Club awarded the Male and Female Scholar Athlete of the Year with $2,000 scholarships. To be eligible for Scholar Athlete of the Year the student must have previously been a Scholar Athlete of the Month.
To be considered for Scholar Athlete of the Month a student must be a senior participating in athletics, be a contributing member of their sports team, be in the top 25% of their senior class and not have had any code of conduct violations throughout their high school career.
It was the pleasure of the Athletic Booster Club to award the Scholar Athlete of the Year honors to Trent Briles and Savannah Mae. Not only are Trent and Savannah in the top 25% of their class they both participated in athletics all three sports seasons for all four years of high school. Congratulations Trent and Savannah!
