PHS Gymnastics Team 2nd in Blazer Invitational

  01/06/14 Jana L. Lyon PHS Gymnastics Coach was pleased with the results of her team’s first meet.  

 Plymouth High School Gymnastics Team competed in their first meet of the season on Saturday, January 4^th.  Plymouth traveled to Elkhart to compete in the Elkhart Central Blazer Invitational.  Five teams participated in the meet and Plymouth came home in 2^nd Place with a team score of 96.6.  This meet also included a Pairs Competition in which Plymouth’s Paired Team of Senior Nicole Davis and Junior Cassi Quissell won easily.  Junior Cassi Quissell won the All-Around Title.  Senior Brycelyn Garza competed in the All-Around for the first time in her career and Senior Danielle Erickson competed on Floor for the first time in her career.  Plymouth travels to Valparaiso next weekend to compete in the Valpo Pairs competition.

Nicole Davis: Vault 8.7(4^th), Bars 7.5(4^th), Beam 8.1(4^th), Floor 8.7(5^th), AA 33.0(4^th)

Cassi Quissell: Vault 8.8(3^rd), Bars 8.7(1^st), Beam 8.6(3^rd), Floor 8.9(2^nd), AA 35.0(1^st)
