PHS Gynmastics Win at Home

  01/20/14 Plymouth High School hosted its first home gymnastics meet of the season on Saturday, January 18^th.  Coach Jana Lyon said, “It was a night of firsts.”  This was the first gymnastics meet ever held in the Multi-Purpose Room.  Plymouth hosted 3 teams: Lowell High School, Peru High School and Western High School and both Plymouth JV and Varsity teams earned 1^st place finishes as teams. 

Senior Brycelyn Garza won 1^st Place All-Around in the JV competition and Junior Cassi Quissell won 1^st Place All-Around in the Varsity competition.  Other first place finishes included Senior Nicole Davis on Varsity Vault, Junior Cassi Quissell on Varsity Bars, Beam and Floor.  Senior Brycelyn Garza earned first place finishes on JV Bars and Beam.  Senior Makayla Fox competed Floor for the first time in her career and Junior Cayla Jolly competed Beam for the first time in her career. 

Plymouth’s next meet is another Home meet hosting West Noble on Monday, January 27^th.
