On Friday, March 7, the Plymouth High School jazz bands attended the annual Indiana State School Music Association’s annual jazz competition. The jazz ensemble students came home with solid gold ratings!
The PHS Jazz Combo performed first in competition and earned a Gold Award. Soloist for the combo was sophomore Sarah Tanner.
Performing second was the PHS Jazz Ensemble who also earned a Gold Award. Soloists for the ensemble were Kyle Barry, Ian Rettig, and Sarah Tanner. The event was held at LaPorte High School.
Congratulations to both jazz ensembles on another outstanding showing at the state contest!
