03/14/14 The 3rd Annual St. Paddy’s Day 5K Dash will take place this Saturday, March 15, at Plymouth High School.   Registration starts at 9:00 a.m. and the Dash will start at 10:00 a.m.  This 3.2 miles run/walk has raised awareness and monies for Eric Day’s and Hope Banghart’s medical expenses.  The students from PHS who bravely fought difficult health issues. 

This year’s St. Paddy’s Day Dash will benefit Riley’s Children Hospital and the PHS Dance Marathon project, BE THE MATCH of Indiana Bone Marrow Organization, and Marcelino “BOO” Arbuckle .  BOO is a kindergarten student at Webster Elementary School who is currently fighting a rare and aggressive soft tissue tumor called Desmoid Fibromatosis.

Activities will take place this Saturday March 15 at Plymouth High School north parking lot.  

  “Bruce’s Big Grill” will once again be selling pulled pork dinners for $8.00.  Dinner includes a pork sandwich, baked beans, and cole slaw.  Tickets are now available for pre-sale and drive through will also be offered. An organized bake sale will also take place where homemade items can be purchased.

Registration fee is $15.00 for students and $20.00 for adults.  Both include a Dash T-shirts and entry into the 3.2 mile walk/run.  St. Paddy’s Day t-shirts may also be purchased for $10.00 for anyone interested.
