Marshall County Police Officer Jordan Rans investigated a two vehicle crash Friday evening about 6:20 in the 20,000 block of 7th Road.

The crash occurred when 67 year old Kenneth Hendricks of Tulip Road was traveling west in a Honda Trailwagon off-road utility vehicle.  He intended to make a left turn into a driveway at 203997th Road and began doing so when a 2000 Ford Pick-up truck driven by 65 year old Carl Miller of 7th Road in Plymouth was in the process of passing the utility vehicle it struck the side of the truck.

Impact from the crash caused the  Honda utility vehicle to be thrown off the roadway and into a field on the north side of 7th Road.  The driver, Kenneth Hendricks was ejected from the vehicle and was found lying in the middle of the roadway with head injuries and road rash.

Mr. Henderson told Officer Rans that his off-road vehicle doesn’t have turn signals and he failed to use arm signals prior to making the left turn.

Henderson was transported to Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center in Plymouth by Plymouth Paramedics and treaded for his injuries.
