Residents and Staff members of Miller’s Senior Living Community joined Plymouth Mayor Mark Senter on Friday to celebrate his proclamation to Paint Plymouth Pink for Breast Cancer Awareness and the Ounce of Prevention Organization.
Miller’s residents and staff members wore pink and had a visit from Plymouth Fire Department’s pink fire truck. Activities Director Cindy Flagg asked pink trivia questions and handed out prizes for the winners. Mayor Senter also picked out the staff member and residents who wore the most pink.
Several residents and staff members took time to sign the pink fire truck as a cancer survivor or in honor of a loved one how passed from cancer and several purchased the fire departments 2014 pink t-shirts for their Ounce of Prevention Fundraiser.
