Max's College SigningMax Holloway, a member of the 2015 class at Plymouth High School has announced he will continue his education and tennis career at Marion Military Institute in Marion, Alabama.

Marion is a military junior college. Holloway hopes to then qualify to get into the Coast Guard. Max is the son of Larry and Michele Holloway. As a member of the PHS Class of 2015, Max has achieved a GPA of 3.891. He is ranked 31st in his class of 277 students.

Marion is a member of the Alabama Community College Conference. Other members include Alabama Southern, Bishop State, Calhoun, Central Alabama, Chattahoochee Valley, Enterprise State, Faulkner State, Gadsden State, Jefferson Davis, Lawson State, L.B. Wallace, Shelton State, Snead State, Southern Union, Wallace State Dothan, Wallace State Hanceville, and Wallace State Selma.

Marion’s tennis season will begin in the fall in early September; the spring season will begin in early February. Marion finished 16th in the nation this past year. Chuck Wright, the current Conference-Coach-of-the Year, is the head tennis coach for Marion Military Institute.
