The 2nd Annual Plymouth Boys Basketball Golf Outing received a lot of great support this past Saturday, August 23, at the Plymouth Country Club. The outing brought in 24 teams. The winning team of Brad Parkhurst, Jim Clevenger, Jim Galt, and Roger Danielson shot a 54 followed closely by the runner-up team of Reis Yoder, Scott Yoder, John Gerard, and Greg Gerard who shot a 55.
The PHS Boys Basketball Program made a donation to the Marshall County Community Foundation to help fund the Freedom Park project. Coach Bales presented Marla Murasko, who was there representing the Freedom Park project, with a check prior to the round. With the huge support from sponsorships and teams participating in the event, the majority of funds raised will go to support the boy’s basketball program needs.
Head Coach Ryan Bales said, “The outing was a huge success. The success was a direct result of great teamwork of coaches, parent volunteers, and Pat Bayley and Brad Parkhurst of Plymouth County Club. On behalf of the PHS Boys Basketball players and coaches, we extend a huge thank you to our local businesses and supporters. We are fortunate to live in the generous, supportive community of Plymouth”.
