In their final regular season tune-up before Friday’s IHSAA Sectional the Plymouth Varsity picked up two close victories at Swan Lake’s Black CourseWednesday evening.
Senior Zach Craft was team Medalist with a 38. Junior Ben Schenk finished birdie, birdie, par, to card a 39. Senior Evan Parkhurst and Junior Reis Yoder both shot 41’s. Senior Nate Kolter had a disappointing night shooting 42.
Tyler Prentkowski from Glenn was Medalist overall shooting a -1 (35).

With the two victories Plymouth closes out their regular season with a final tally of 18-5, two non-conference losses and three NLC losses. Pleasing tonight was the avenging of our first loss of the season to Marian in early April. We get another opportunity to avenge our other non-conference loss of the season (to CMA), and one of our NLC losses (to Warsaw) this Friday in the Sectional.
Friday morning Plymouth tees off at 8:40am playing alongside CMA, Warsaw, and Columbia City at Rozella Ford in Warsaw. Top three teams advance to Regional play at Stonehenge, also in Warsaw, on June 12th.
