The Plymouth Girls’ Bowling Team rolled over John Adams 16-4 (1286-1152) Thursday Night.
Bowling for Plymouth was juniors Katie McDonald (124-116), Ashley Shepperd (161-144), and Heather Borggren (195-114) and seniors Denise Altheide (114-129) and Cassidy Morris (106-83).
Plymouth is still ranked 4th in the Michiana West Conference. On Saturday December 20th, Plymouth Girls’ will compete against Clay Girls’ Team at Osceola Lanes and this will be their final match before Sectionals.
Story behind this picture, second game Heather Borggren had a 44 in the 5th frame. Her parents made a bet that if she earned a 170 (strike out every frame after) she could get a puppy. This was right after Heather went up to bowl and striked out in the 6th and 7th frame. The shock on her teammates face as she yelled I’m getting a puppy! She ended up getting a 114 and not getting the new puppy.
