On Friday, April 11th at 1:00 A.M. Bourbon Police Officer Matthew A. Geiger was dispatched to a possible intoxicated driver traveling on US 30 from the east county line. Officer Geiger located a vehicle matching the description and initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle after it crossed over the yellow line in the area of US 30 and Elm Road. The driver, 56 year old Philip D. Kyle of Plymouth submitted to a field sobriety and certified test and failed. He was taken into custody for Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated and transported to the Marshall County Jail and held on a $1,505 bond.
