A Plymouth man was arrested for attempted murder Saturday morning just before 5.
29 year old Siamuel Stemen, with an address of Nutmeg Meadows was arrested at 722 East LaPorte Street, the home of Drendalyn Ortiz, his sister.
Police are not releasing many details on the incident but WTCA learned that Ortiz was able to get to the neighbors to seek help. Plymouth police and the ambulance arrived.
Police transported Stemen to the Marshall Count Jail after locating him hiding in the home. He is being held with no bond on a charge of attempted murder.
Ortiz was transported to Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center in Plymouth and transferred Memorial Hospital for her injuries.
