01/09/14 During the Jan. 7, 2014 Plymouth School Board meeting, the five members voted to retain the same officers that were in place in 2013. Continuing as President is Todd Samuelson; Vice-President, Larry Holloway; and Secretary, Melissa Christiansen.
Samuelson was re-appointed as the legislative liaison. Christiansen and Gary Cook will serve on the new Strategic Planning Committee. Larry Pinkerton continues on the Board as well.
Jeffrey Houin will continue as the Board’s legal counsel. This marks the second renewal for Houin who has held the position for two-and-one-half years.
Samuelson was named Finance Board President and Christiansen, Secretary of that Board.
The contract for Superintendent Daniel Tyree was also approved. Tyree’s compensation as listed prior to a public hearing on the matter in December 2013 was a total of $157,311. The base salary comes in at $108,432 and the benefit package approved totals $43,879.
