05/19/14 The mission of CoSN is to empower educational leaders to leverage technology to realize engaging learning environments. Each year the CoSN state chapter awards a school corporation the TEAM Award for its transformative impact on education technology and its work to improve student learning, opportunities, and access. The technology department at Plymouth Community School Corporation has provided an infrastructure that allows teachers and students to teach and acquire the 21st Century Skills that are necessary for success for college and career readiness.  This TEAM Award also recognized administrators with the proactive vision to promote these learning opportunities and also the instructional coaches’ team that helps implement technology in the classroom.

This prestigious award qualifies Plymouth Community School Corporation for a candidate’s spot for national recognition at the CoSN National Conference in Atlanta in 2015.

Bruce Johnson, Plymouth School Corporation’s Chief Technology Officer, was also awarded a certificate for his mentorship throughout the State of Indiana as a CoSN member sharing information about technology to other corporations to help them improve learning through technology in their own school system.
