January 30, 2014

01/31/14  On Monday, January 27th at 9:58 P.M. Plymouth Police Officer Jeremy Enyart responded to the Red Rock Inn on North Michigan Street in reference to a possible domestic fight.  Arriving on the scene, both the victim Barbra Jo Finney and 43 year old Richard W. Milton of Nappanee were located inside the room. Both subjects told Officer Enyart that there had not been a fight. Mr. Milton was taken into custody for Invasion of Privacy and was transported and lodged at the Marshall County Jail on charges of Violating a Restraining Order and booked on a $1,505 bond.

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is a mere allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
