02/24/14 On Saturday, February 22nd at 9:19 P.M. Plymouth Police Officers were dispatched by the Marshall County 9-1-1 Dispatch Center to the Economy Inn located at 2535 North Michigan Street in reference to the possibility of gunshots being fired. As Officers arrived on the scene Officer Paul Stamper met with several guests of the Inn. They all stated they heard four to five “pops” that may have been gunshots. While Officers conducted an investigation, several shell casings were located in the parking lot. Several witnesses were taken to the Plymouth Police Department to have their statements taken. This incident is still under investigation.
