During the chase, the driver crashed into a cornfield near 7th and Union, and a foot pursuit started.
The Starke County officer pursued the driver on foot, and used a Taser to subdue the suspect.
Marshall County and Walkerton departments also responded.
The suspect was taken from the scene by ambulance and is suffering from road rash.
Police say he has a history in both Starke and Marshall Counties.
No officers were injured in the chase and crash.
