The Mayor and the Planning Committee for the River Park Square Ribbon Cutting are excited to announce the line-up for June 21st

At 9:00 a.m., at the entrance of River Park Square, Mayor Mark Senter will be joined by Senator Joe Donnelly as he welcomes everyone to the new River Park Square and cuts the ribbon.  There will also be a special unveiling by the Mayor! 

Throughout the day citizens will have the opportunity to participate in different demonstrations and events.  There will be a representative from “Be The Match” available so willing citizens can become members of the blood marrow registry with a simple cheek swab.  The Plymouth Fire Department will be on hand with the Fire Safety House and a fire engine for the children to explore.  Officer John Wier and his K9 partner, Jax will be on hand doing demonstrations. 

The day will also be filled with great music!! Bring your lawn chairs or a blanket so you can enjoy our local musicians!

9:45-10:00           The Children’s Choir with Mr. Bob Pickell in the pergola

10:15-11:00         Ivory West in the pergola

11:00-12:00         Marshall County Orchestra with Mr. Don Harness will be in the bandshell

12:00-1:00           Chad VanHerk will be in the bandshell

 

Starting at 12:00, Mayor Senter will be grilling free hot dogs for everyone!  Coca-Cola products will also be provided. 

The Splash Pad will also be open so be sure to wear your bathing suit and water shoes!!  Don’t forget a towel to dry off!
