Registration for all Plymouth Community School students will be held at Plymouth High School on Wednesday, July 30th, from 7:00 A.M. – 10:00 A.M.; 12:00 -3:00 P.M., and 5:00 P.M. – 7:00 P.M. They will also register students on Thursday, July 31st, from 11:00 A.M. – 2:00 P.M. and 4:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M.
The cost for meals is the same as last year. Breakfast will be $1.10 each day and lunch will cost $1.85 each day. Reduced meal charges are $.40 for lunch and $.30 for breakfast. Students who are still hungry after finishing their noon meal will be able to buy an ala carte sandwich for an additional $1.10 (ham/turkey) or peanut butter jelly for $.75. As we will once again be using the computerized lunch accounting system, you can deposit monies at any time into your child’s account. Funds left over from the 2013-14 school year have been rolled over into this year’s account.
Riverside Elementary’s Parent Teacher Organization will meet the first Monday of every month at 6:00 P.M. in the Riverside school library. All parents are automatically members of the PTO. PTO funds pay for such things as: convocations, Rocket Night, Roster Parties, etc. The Riverside staff really appreciates your help and support. They are in need of PTO officers. Parents are invited to Riverside Elementary’s “Meet the Teacher” Ice Cream Social on Monday, August 11. The doors will open at 6:15 P.M. and give students and parents a chance to look at homeroom lists. Each academic team of teachers will present promptly at 6:30 P.M. Principal Hirschy said, “Please make sure that you arrive to hear what is in store for your students for the 2014-15 school year. Immediately following the presentations, ice cream will be served in the cafeteria.”
