02/26/14 Riverside Intermediate students were recently entertained by musician Jeff Rutter as he engaged them in sing-alongs and taught them some basics behind the science of music.
Students sang along to rock-and-roll hits like “Brown-Eyed Girl” and “I’m a Believer” while simultaneously learning about musical concepts like rhythm, pitch, and melody.
Rutter also invited many student volunteers to dance and sing-along with him on stage. It was a rockin’ experience for students!
