The Rockets were in action last night against the New Prairie Cougars. The Rockets A team revenged an earlier loss to the Cougars by defeating them 43 – 27. Leading the Rockets in scoring was Jake Reicard (13 points), Daniel Bacon (11 points) and Owen Bockman (8 points). The key to the victory was the rebounding in the game. The Rockets had 53 total rebounds in the game with Daniel Bacon leading the charge with 18 and Jake Reichard chipping in with 10. The Rockets played their best game on the defensive end and shooting 44 % from the field. The Rockets are in action again January 15th at home against Tippy Valley with tip off at 5:00 pm.
The B team continued their winning ways by defeating the Cougars 30 – 18. Multiple Rockets helped with the scoring with Matt Dobuck ( 10 points), Kyle Johnson (6 points), and Teddy Pratt (5 points). The Rockets had 26 total rebounds and forced New Prairie to 24 turnovers. Matt Dobuck also had team high 5 blocks that lead to a lot of Rocket fast break opportunities. The B team is in action onJanuary 15th after the A team game with tip off being around 6 pm.
