SOFTBALL

The Plymouth Softball program earned it’s first victories last night against the Falcons of John Glenn High School. The Varsity squeaked out at 2-0 victory at home, scoring in the first and 6th inning.

Meanwhile the JV won 15-3 at Glenn.

It was a whole team victory for the Lady Pilgrims as they capitalized on base running opportunities, put the ball in play and sacrificed to get both runs.

Miriah Brumley got the victory from the mound. She struck out 6 and walked only 3 while teaming up with the defense to keep Glenn from crossing home plate.

Plymouth turns right around and plays Tippy Valley tomorrow (Friday) at home starting at 5:00. On Saturday, they play host to Michigan City at 11 and turn right around to face Bremen at 2:00.
