The Marshall County Sheriff’s Department has identified the young, white female body that was found about 8 a.m. Friday morning on 5th Road between Hawthorn and Grape Roads.
An autopsy Monday morning in Fort Wayne has confirmed the body to be that of 15 year old Desiray Ann Kathryn Jones of Bremen.
Marshall County Coroner Bill Cleavenger said the preliminary autopsy results indicated Desiray died from blunt force trauma to the head.
The Marshall County Sheriff’s Department is being assisted in their investigation by the Marshall County Coroner’s Office and the Indiana State Police.
