Tuesday morning at 8:45 Detective Jeff Snyder with the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department was dispatched to 821 Elm Road for a burglary and theft complaint.
The Sheriff’s Department had received a report of horse saddles being stolen from a horse stable north of Bremen during the daylight hours on Monday, October 13th.
A report of suspicious persons at the stable during the time of the theft led officers to an address in Starke County. There, the offender, 41 year old Shane William Querry was located and questioned regarding the theft.
Through the investigation a portion of the stolen property was recovered.
Querry was taken into custody and transported to the Marshall County Jail where he was held on a $3,005 cash bond.
