Plymouth Police investigated a single vehicle accident Monday morning at Oakhill Avenue and Freeman Street.
52 year old Patricia Ganshorn of Clark Street in Plymouth was driving a 2002 Mercury Mountaineer east on Oakhill from Nutmeg and left the roadway. The vehicle collided with a utility pole so hard it broke the pole in half with part of it landing on the top of the SUV.
Ganshorn was transported to Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center in Plymouth for treatment.
