06/05/14  On Tuesday, June 3rd at approximately 12:30 A.M. Bourbon Officer Matt Geiger was advised that individuals had taken what was found to be the Driver’s Education Car from the Triton High School. Officer Geiger saw three male juveniles coming from the car that was parked in a field near the school. All three subjects were caught and brought to the Bourbon Police Department along with their parents for paperwork.  The parents signed a promise to appear for their child when the Juvenile Probation Department contacts them.


Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed.  They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
