On Friday, July 25 at 4:23 p.m. the Plymouth Police Department received a report regarding an eleven year old girl that had been sexually assaulted at a residence in the 100 block of Franklin Street in Plymouth. A suspect was identified as 67 year old Jonas Olvera, who was visiting from Mission, Texas.
After further investigation, Jonas Olvera was located and after questioning, Mr. Olvera was arrested. An Arrest Warrant had been issued for Jonas Olvera in Marshall County in 2009 regarding another Child Molesting report. He was then booked into the Marshall County Jail regarding the Arrest Warrant along with a new charge of Child Molesting as a Level 4 Felony.
His bond was set at $15,000 Surety or $3,000 Cash on the warrant and $100,000 Cash on the new charge.
