The Plymouth Public Library Summer Reading Program will host a special even this Saturday, June 14th in the parking lot next to the Old Fire House.

Beginning at 1 p.m. and lasting until 3 p.m. they will have a hands-on science day.  Participants are invited to bring their own white or light colored piece of material for a tie-dye activity.  Participants will use Sharpie Markers with rubbing alcohol to decorate their shirt or material.

Kids will also have the opportunity to “walk on water” in a kiddie pool filled with a oobleck….a suspension not a solution and several times during the 2 hours event there will be explosions with Coke and Mentos.

This event is being held in the parking lot because of the possibility of making a mess.  Participants are encouraged to wear appropriate clothing.

All children are invited to attend, this is not just for participants in the summer reading program.
