05/14/14 DONALDSON –The 6th annual Tri Ancilla event was to be held on Saturday, May 17th, on the beautiful campus grounds of Ancilla College and The Center at Donaldson.  However, due to the cool weather forecast for Saturday, the event has been rescheduled for Saturday, September 27th.

Last year, a field of 123 participants from five different states and ranging in age from 16 to 78, participated in a 500 yard lake swim, 11 mile bike ride, and a 3.1 mile run that toured the Donaldson-based campus and surrounding areas.  Individuals and teams interested in participating in Tri Ancilla may go to www.ancilla.edu/tri-ancilla to register online.

“The Tri Ancilla event continues to bring in new participants each year, introducing them for the first time to the scenic environment that those of us that work here get to see every day.  The primary goal of this event is to introduce more and more people to all that we have to offer on this campus.  In addition, the proceeds generated from the participant entry fees and corporate sponsorships will all go into our tuition assistance funds to help our students with their education expenses.  The planning committee and multiple volunteers all work together to put on a well-organized and enjoyable event,” said Todd Zeltwanger, Executive Director of Institutional Advancement at Ancilla College.
