Emergency responders were dispatched to 14499 6th Road Tuesday evening about 8:45 for a motorcycle that had crashed into a fence. When EMS from LaPaz arrived on the scene they found the male driver up and moving and his female passenger on the ground.
Plymouth paramedics were dispatched to the scene and both riders were transported to Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center in Plymouth. The female had severe back pain and tingling and the driver had road-rash and pain to an ankle.
County Police Officer Rob Hafke is conducting the investigation and will release additional details on Wednesday.
