U.S. 31 Lane Restrictions Continue in South Bend

 The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) announces lane restrictions on U.S. 31, between Johnson Road and Ireland Road in South Bend. Today and through most of next week U.S. 31 will be down to one lane in each direction, between Johnson Road and Ireland Road.

This is all part of the new U.S. 31 project. Drivers should plan ahead, as lane restrictions in this area are expected to continue, on and off, through much of the spring and summer. Back-ups are expected, so drivers are encouraged to find alternative routes to avoid delays.
