04/03/14  On Tuesday, April 1st Plymouth Police Officer Ben McIntyre conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle observed speeding in Centennial Park.  After a brief investigation it was learned that 18 year old Brandon A. Vaca of Plymouth was operating a vehicle without ever receiving a license.   He was taken into custody and transported to the Marshall County Jail and held on a $255 cash bond. He was released later that night at 8:10 P.M. after posting bond and received a Superior Court II date of April 22nd to appear for his initial hearing.

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is a mere allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
