Arrested_handcuffIn March of this year the Plymouth Eagles Lodge filed a criminal case with the Plymouth Police Department regarding a theft. That led to a three month investigation that ended Wednesday evening with the arrest of 33 year old Brandon James VanVactor.
MugShot_Brandon VanvactorFrom the latter part of 2010 and through 2013 Mr. VanVactor was the secretary for the Eagles Lodge. At some point the lodge was having issues and had an audit completed on their accounts.
With this information and other details Plymouth Police arrested Brandon VanVactor for theft under $100,000, forgery, counterfeiting, and fraud. He was lodged in the Marshall County Jail at 8:30 Wednesday night with a $5,005 cash bond and bonded out immediately.

Well based on this exchange, it appears that world cup soccer fever hasn’t affected everybody in the Marshall county area… At the end of the day he was arrested — period. :-)

I’d be happy to show you the press release from Det. Sgt. Jim Cox of the Plymouth Police Department on this incident. Stop in…we have it right here in the front office. It is public record. When I contacted the detective from the Sheriff’s Department Thursday morning after seeing Brandon Van Vactor on the booking for multiple charges he sent me to the PPD for a release. It wasn’t until this morning that I received a news release from the county that included Brandon VanVactor on the arrests. Since you don’t think I report equally I will be happy to include Brandon in this one again….You must think he needs his 15 minutes of fame.

If your going to be accurate or cite the “police report” at least get the proper agency that arrested him…… Being an annoyance to local officials and then choosing what to release as YOU seem fit is an arbitrary act and an injustice to the people of our community. Also, you might want to invest in an editor!

I’m just quoting what was in the police report. Thanks for the information.
