01/17/14  On Wednesday, January 15th at approximately 7:51 a.m. the Marshall County 9-1-1 Dispatch Center received information of a property damage accident in the area of Plymouth – LaPorte Trail and 4B Road.  Marshall County Police Officer Les McFarland and Officer Jonathan Bryant responded to the scene and made contact with 33 year old Kristie M. Theilman of Walkerton.   During the investigation it was believed that Kristie Theilman had been operating the vehicle while intoxicated.  She was taken into custody for Operating While Intoxicated and transported to the Marshall County Jail.   Theilman was held on a $255 bond and was released about 5:30 p.m. after posting the cash bond.  She received a Superior Court II date of January 28th for her initial hearing .

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is a mere allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
