MugShot_Dennis MaddoxThe Marshall County Sheriff’s Department received a 9-1-1 emergency call Sunday evening about 5 from a concerned caller advising that a white Ford Expedition was driving poorly. The caller believed that the driver was impaired.
Officer Les McFarland located the vehicle in question and made a traffic stop on the 2003 Ford Expedition in the area of State Road 17 and Queen Road. During the traffic stop, Officer McFarland suspected that the driver, Dennis L. Maddox, age 59 of Walkerton was intoxicated. Officer McFarland transported Mr. Maddox to the St. Joseph Regional Hospital for a chemical test. Dennis L. Maddox was then arrested for OWI. A case report will be completed and forwarded to the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office for formal charges to be completed.
