Congresswoman Jackie Walorski (IN-02) wrapped up her ‘Made in Indiana’ tour today by visiting local businesses in Wabash, Miami and Fulton counties to tour homegrown companies in an effort to highlight the hundreds of jobs that have been created by these family businesses.

“These Hoosier companies are a key driver of jobs in their local communities,” said Walorski. “After traveling throughout the district and seeing what the 2nd Congressional District produces, I’m really encouraged at how businesses continue to adapt and succeed. From manufacturing facilities to family farms, our district provides a wealth of products that are distributed across the country.”

Over the course of the day, Walorski visited businesses all established in Indiana to highlight the importance of products made locally as a contributing factor to the strength of Indiana’s economy.

“Not only do local businesses provide the success stories of the future, but they also present new employment opportunities and serve as the building blocks of Americas’ largest corporations. I want to thank each of these businesses for working selflessly to better improve our industries and ensure they have the necessary support to continue doing what they do best: growing the Hoosier economy.”

On Tuesday, Walorski began her tour by traveling to Elkhart, St. Joseph, Marshall, Pulaski, Starke and LaPorte counties.
Walorski represents the 2nd Congressional District in Indiana, where she serves as a member of the House Veterans’ Affairs Committee, House Armed Services Committee, and House Budget Committee.
