HOme Improvement Fraud suspect photo9-18-14Detective Jeff Snyder with the Marshall County Police Department has released the name of the suspect in the recent home improvement fraud warning. The suspect has been identified as Jack Young of Mobile, Alabama. There is currently an active warrant for the arrest of Jack Young for the crimes of theft and receiving stolen property. He is a suspect in home improvement fraud scams involving driveway sealing or blacktop coating. He is known to travel through the area to solicit work at residential homes and may be using the name of Chris Young.

Jack Young was last seen in South Bend, on Thursday, September 18th driving a black pickup truck with an out of state, possibly Arkansas, license plate. He is believed to be working with at least one other male subject that has yet to be identified. The second person was driving a bright red smaller model pickup truck.

Marshall County Police are asking the public to notify your local Police Department if you have any encounters or have had any encounters with this man.
