BourbonPoliceLast Friday morning at 3:27 Bourbon Police Officer Mat Geiger was notified of a possible drunk driver. The officer located a vehicle matching the description at Main and Shaffer Streets in Bourbon. The vehicle had pulled into a driveway and as the officer approached he suspected that the driver, 25 year old Elizabeth Sexton of Warsaw had been drinking.

A field sobriety test was given and Sexton failed the test. She was taken to the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department for a certified test and failed it. Sexton was placed under arrest and booked into the Marshall County Jail for operating a vehicle while intoxicated on a $1,505 cash bond.
