The Bremen PD Offense report had 2 theft reports, and one each for criminal trespass, battery in the presence of a child, battery with a prior conviction, invasion of privacy, residential entry, intimidation, possession of a scheduled substance and driving while suspended with a prior charge.
Bremen officers made four arrests from July 18th to the 24th. Joseph W. Shephers of Etna Green was arrested for criminal trespass, Richard Milton of Nappanee for battery, invasion of privacy, residential entry and intimidation. Paul Carlson of Bremen was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and a warrant for failure to appear. Jacqueline Lee Porter of Bremen was arrested on a warrant in Marshall County for a probation violation.
Bremen police investigate one property damage accident at Plymouth and Shumaker Streets on July 21st. Officers also responded to multiple fire calls. On July 18th they were dispatched to Indiana Carton at 1721 West Bike Street where a subject has gotten drift caught in a machine. On the 19th Bremen police were dispatched to 511 West Bike Street for the odor of natural gas and also an assist to Madison Township in Saint Joseph County for a barn fire. On the 20th they did a standby for the LaPaz Fire Department and on the 22nd responded to 515 S. Whitlock for a fire alarm and to State Road 331 and 1st Road for an unfounded accident. Their final fire response was on the 23rd to 1344 Jacinda for smoke in a residence for an unknown cause.
